- Estimate & contact requests — name, email, phone, property address, county, property type, services of interest, and any details you type into the "Request Estimate" form.
- Job applications — name, email, phone, position of interest, and any background/experience you provide on the Careers page.
- Instant Quote / Shop address lookup — the property address you enter to get an instant price. We use this to look up your property's boundaries and lawn area with mapping and parcel-data providers so your price reflects your actual lot.
- Basic technical data — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) generated automatically by our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare) for security and reliability, not for tracking or advertising.
We do not collect payment card numbers, bank details, or customer account credentials through this Site — see Section 3 below.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to estimate requests, contact-form submissions, and job applications — these are emailed directly to our team so a real person can follow up with you.
- To generate an instant, property-specific price when you use the Shop's address lookup.
- To schedule and deliver landscaping and construction services you request.
- To maintain the security, performance, and integrity of the Site.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
3. Payments & Booking Are Handled by Our Operations Platform
This is important, so we are stating it plainly: avalon-lc.com does not store payment card information, customer accounts, subscriptions, or order/invoice history. When you book and pay for a service through our online Shop, checkout is handled by our secure operations platform (Groundwork CRM) using Stripe as the payment processor. Stripe and Groundwork — not this website — are the system of record for your payment method, receipts, and order history. This Site only ever passes along the minimum information needed to start that checkout (such as your selected service and a one-time session token) and later polls Groundwork for a "paid / not paid" confirmation to show you a booking confirmation page.
Your existing Client Portal login (linked in our site footer) is likewise operated on our behalf by our client-management platform, not by avalon-lc.com directly.
4. Sharing Your Information
We share information only as needed to operate our business:
- Service providers we use to run the Site and our business — email delivery, mapping/parcel-data lookups for instant pricing, hosting/security infrastructure, our client-management platform, and Stripe for payment processing.
- Legal requirements — if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process.
We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Cookies & Browser Storage
This Site does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. We use a single, non-identifying browser storage entry to remember a visual display preference on your device. We do not use this or anything else on the Site to build advertising profiles about you.
6. Data Retention & Security
We retain estimate, contact, and application submissions only as long as needed to respond to you and keep reasonable business records, and we use industry-standard hosting and encryption (HTTPS) to protect data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
7. Your Choices
You can request that we delete personal information you have submitted to us (for example, an estimate request or job application) by contacting us using the information below. We will honor reasonable requests except where we need to retain information for legitimate business or legal purposes.
8. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults seeking landscaping and construction services and is not directed to children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
