When is the right time to prune my shrubs?
It depends on the species — spring-flowering shrubs are pruned right after they bloom, while many evergreens and summer-flowering plants are better pruned in late winter or early spring. We time every pruning visit to the specific plants on your property, not a single blanket schedule.
Will pruning hurt my plants or reduce flowering?
Pruned at the wrong time, yes — that’s the most common plant-health mistake homeowners run into. Pruned at the right time with proper technique, it encourages healthier, fuller growth and better flowering the following season.
Is this included in my regular maintenance visits?
Routine shaping is typically part of our Weekly Maintenance and Grounds Maintenance programs. Larger rejuvenation pruning or specialty ornamental work is available as a standalone service for properties not already on a maintenance plan.
What happens to the clippings?
Every clipping is removed from the property the same visit — beds are left clean, not covered in trimmings for you to deal with.
